Sam Szorentini

 

As of the summer of 2014, I have interned and learned from fellow New Jersey native Ken Spooner, founder of SpoonyVision Studios.  I helped oversee and edit a documentary produced by Spooner called "To Be Strong", about a local young adult's battle with cancer.  SpoonyVision Studios' newest endeavor is an upcoming documentary focusing on the rising heroin epidemic affecting high school and college students in northern New Jersey.  Along with filmmaking and editing, I have a passion for writing, especially regarding art, culture and today's media. I am planning to become apart of Miami University's student newspaper, The Miami Student, and gain more knowledge and experience from Spooner this summer.
